Re: Next stage for lancer
don't worry about ppl like that man, If they wana keep going they'll be banned..
Re: Next stage for lancer
an honest opinion! after all isn't everyone entitled to it? even if someone had said something about her car, i don't think she'd be complaining.. most people are well aware not everyone is going to like everyone elses cars. don't think Claires too worried about a ban anyway, she wouldnt be missing all that much.

im thinkin of maybe gettin a 180 or a silvia. its just something with a bit more grunt, but i do love the lancer, theres HEAPS to do to it to make it one of a kind. thats why i bought it. none of that FAKE EVO SHIT THANKS ! HAHAHA

Re: Next stage for lancer
ok for either the lancer or the astra i would do appearance mods, ie body kits, paint jobs massive mags, lowered, as engine mods are not really worth it because the engine is not a good base to start on, sorry but it just is not a good engine. You can get both cars looking real good though! power aint evreything!

Wen i had my 97 lancer we had a run and the 'ol astra beat me. I wanted to go faster so i did the smart thing and sold it. Just not worth modding a lancer engine unless u got an EVO

Re: Next stage for lancer
Ok to bring my back up....it's my opinion! I don't think there is ANY point 'modding' a lancer.
Second reason : He is on his p plates? He can't DO anything to the car, so why bother asking? And looks like he took my advice anyways, he wants a Silvia, good idea. You can get them n/a, i wouldn't PERSONALLY suggest it, but its still good to get used to rear wheel drive car.
I don't put my car on this forum cause hopefully it won't be my car for long, and i'm not all that interested in it. Nor do I claim my car has '1000'kw from my wheels...they are too heavy so it's slower! If you see it has 90kw atf!
Go ahead and ban me if you feel it necessary, but i feel my answer was honest and valid! and yes...i did beat you Beau haha!

Your car Is to heavy? Are you serious?
Re: Next stage for lancer
Lol my wheels ya noob! Stop trying to read what you want to read!
But I still reckon you should go for another car, and wait till your on your opens and then you can start thinkin about going all out. Motor swaps are awesomly unique, but are also very long winded and expensive. The two friends of mine who have both done crazy engine swaps, took at least 2 years (is actually raod worthy too) and the others has been going for 2 years, and still not finished. Maybe save up your money untill your on your opens then see how far you can go with your money.

Re: Next stage for lancer
what about the obvious? decent extractors and a full length exhaust, 2inch or so, other than that there ain't much you could do wile keeping it P plate legal to get the power up, the king springs would be worth it too, ur car bounces like a rubber ball
